Changes in FineReader support policy
Dear customers and partners,
I would like to inform you that ABBYY will no longer provide technical support for older versions of ABBYY FineReader and several other End-of-Life products. Today registered users of such older versions will receive an emailing informing them of this policy change. All business users of non-supported products who contact ABBYY from now on will be forwarded to regional sales managers and further on to you – our partners – for a quotation offer. Technical support will be denied to such users (including activation requests). I suggest to work with your dedicated ABBYY sales manager in order to determine, if any special offer should be made for specific customers.
Please note that although some products like PDF Transformer+, for example, are no longer supported, users of such products are still entitled to a regular upgrade discount. At the same time, users of FineReader 11 and below are not eligible for a standard upgrade discount.
